The theme for the fifth edition of Camera Jabber Photographer of the Year (CJPOTY) the contest is “Beautiful Planet”. We want to see your favorite landscapes, whether they’re close to home or on a long-haul flight.

This round of our monthly competition is open for submissions until 6:00 p.m. BST (7:00 p.m. CET and 10:00 a.m. PST) on May 31, 2022.

To submit your entry visit You can submit one image per entry, but make up to three entries for £2.00 plus payment processing fee (£0.26).

Beautiful Planet Inspiration

Fifth Round of CJPOTY: Beautiful Planet

Camera Jabber Photographer of the Year Award

At the end of the month, the Camera Jabber team will select one winning image and nine finalists from the April entries. The photographer of the winning image will receive a voucher to the value of £500 which can be spent on anything from a huge range of kits from the world’s largest platform for used photography gear.

The 10 selected images will appear in our shortlist of the year.

We will do this every month in 2022 so that at the end of the year there will be 120 shortlisted images. These will then go before our fantastic panel of judges who will decide which images are ranked 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

The photographer in the image ranked first overall, as decided by the jury, will receive a voucher worth £1,000 from as well as a trophy and the title’Camera Jabber Photographer of the Year 2023‘. Second and third place photographers will receive vouchers worth £500 and £250 respectively.

Christina Vaughan – Founder of Cultura Creative, the home of inclusive archival photography
Jeremy Walker – Landscape photographer, author and former Nikon Ambassador

You don’t have to enter the contest every month, but you are welcome and the more images you have shortlisted at the end of the year, the better your chance of winning the top prize.
