Honor is preparing to roll out Honor 70 series smartphones in the Chinese market. As per the official announcement, the smartphones will be launched on May 30 at 7:30 p.m. (local time). The series will include three smartphones, including Honor 70, Honor 70 Pro and Honor 70 Pro Plus.

Honor has consistently outclassed most of its competitors when it comes to photographic prowess. We expect nothing less from the Honor 70 series. Rumors suggest that the three smartphones in the Honor 70 series will also benefit from very capable camera systems.

Honor 70 Series Expected Specs

Starting with the Pro Plus variant, the smartphone will feature a 10-bit LTPO display complemented by a resolution of 2800 x 1300 pixels. The smartphone is said to run on MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset. It could be powered by a 4600mAh battery with 100W fast charging support.

Coming to the camera, we can expect the Honor 70 Pro Plus to rock a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP Sony IMX766 main shooter, a 50MP ultra wide-angle shooter and of a 12MP telephoto shooter.

Similarly, the Honor 70 Pro sports a 10-bit LTPO display coupled with a 120Hz refresh rate for a super smooth experience. The smartphone could run on the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor.

Chances are that the battery capacity and charging speed of the Honor 70 Pro will be the same as the Pro Plus variant. In terms of optics, it will most likely sport a 50MP main snapper, a 50MP super wide-angle snapper, and an 8MP telephoto snapper.

As for the base variant, we can see a 10-bit FHD+ display in the Honor 70 paired with a 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the device is said to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, which is the watered down version. of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.

This will feature a 4800mAh battery with 66W fast charging support. Additionally, it will sport a triple rear camera setup featuring a 108MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and 2MP macro sensor. .
